Cooking Class

Our nutrition education and cooking programs are led by Chef Jeanine. Our family cooking classes engage the whole household in preparing a variety of simple, healthy and budget-friendly recipes every Tuesday over Zoom. Sign up below. All classes are 100% free for families!
Recipes are sent out via email each Friday. Cooking Classes occur on Tuesday evenings at 6:00PM EST on Zoom. Our instructor teaches the class and together our group creates an easy, healthy recipe within the 30 minute time slot.
Michelle Conley is a Pediatric Occupational Therapist with almost six years of experience working in schools across New York City and Hawaii. She earned her Master of Science in Occupational Therapy from New York University and has also worked in sensory clinics, in-home therapy, and aquatic therapy settings. Michelle is SOS Approach to Feeding–certified and has experience supporting children with feeding challenges by promoting food exploration, increasing comfort with new foods, and fostering positive mealtime experiences. Passionate about empowering children, Michelle helps them build independence, confidence, and skills in creative and personalized ways. She has worked in the areas of executive functioning, gross and fine motor skills, sensory processing, feeding and oral motor development, handwriting, emotional regulation, interoception, visual perceptual skills, life skills, and social skills. As a former Fast Feet volunteer and running coach in Brooklyn, she has loved guiding children toward their running goals. Outside of work, Michelle enjoys reading, surfing, swimming, and sharing good food with friends.
