Return to play protocol

Return to Play Date: July 1, 2020

Return to Play Structure: 

  1. We will be offering small group, in-person sessions beginning in July. 

  2. Each group session will be limited to three athletes (4 with siblings). 

  3. We will offer multiple time slots on the same day, to ensure every athlete can participate if they so choose. Runners can sign up for 4 week training cycles. 

  4. We will continue to offer two (2) virtual classes each week on Zoom for those who cannot attend in-person events.

Safety Protocols:

  1. Each athlete must fill out a COVID-19 survey prior to attending EACH practice. This survey asks questions regarding recent illnesses, symptoms and exposure. 

  2. All athletes will be asked to sign a COVID-19 release form prior to participation. (see below)

  3. There will be NO sharing of equipment, relay batons, or high fives. 

  4. Athletes will be spaced 6 feet apart for drills and stations. Athletes will run around the track in a staggered formation. 

  5. Facemasks are required. We will have hand sanitizer and Lysol wipes on hand at all times. We understand that some children with asthma may need to remove their masks for lap running. To ensure safety, students will not run near each other while completing laps around a track. 

  6. To ensure the health of all athletes, coaches, and families, we will administer a quick temperature check prior to each practice. 

  7. Please bring your own reusable water bottle. 

All athletes must fill out two forms prior to participating in fast feet practice sessions

  1. COVID-19 Release Form

  2. COVID-19 Health and Symptoms Survey. The survey must be completed prior to EACH practice attended.

  3. We will have physical copies of both forms available at each practice session.
